Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to the retreat?

Closer to the time we will add you to a private group to discuss the cheapest or fastest ways to get to our chosen venue.

Are flights included?

No flights are not included in the price of your retreat, this will need to be booked and paid for in addition to the retreat price.

What if I arrive early to a retreat?

Sadly we are not able to accommodate you before a retreat commences. However, there is plenty of affordable accommodation in the nearby area, if you would like recommendations or help organising this then do let us know.

Do I need vaccinations?

ASIA: Check online or with your doctor for any recommended vaccinations or feel free to ask us

Do I need a visa?

Please check online for your chosen country's VISA rules

How much yoga experience do I need?

You don’t need to have a huge amount of experience to come on our retreats, but knowledge of Sun Salutations will be useful for you to be able to flow to the Vinyasa classes. Just let us know in your booking form what your experience is then we can ensure we cater to your needs. Every class is made challenging with various options of each pose meaning you can hold back or play with something more difficult, its completely up to you!

Can I bring someone who doesn’t want to do any yoga?

Yes of course, there is plenty to do in and around Agonda for anyone who doesn’t want to take part in any yoga. Please email us hello@wildestliving.com to discuss this.

What clothes should I bring with me?

ASIA: You should bring enough comfortable clothes to practice yoga in, because of the heat, we would recommend shorts/sports bras/lighter tops as well as leggings, it will be too hot to practice in long sleeves. Just remember we will be getting sweaty so you should be prepared to do a little bit of washing, or bring enough for 10 days of yoga! Of course bring a few swimwear items. You should however bring some modest clothing too such as light weight long sleeves and trousers to protect agains mosquitos in the evening, or to wear if visiting any temples or other areas.

Anything else to bring?

ASIA: Some things to remember to pack: Sunscreen, sunglasses, beach towel/sarong, trainers for any walks, light sandals/flip flops, flashlight/smart phone light, cash to pay for tuk tuks (ATMs are around), refillable bottle for water to save on plastic, any chargers and plug converters (please check online), a notebook & pencil/pen.

Will there be wifi?

Yes but lets try to keep off it !

What if I want to stay a few more days?

If you would like to stay on after the retreat then you will need to arrange your own accommodation for an additional cost. Again, we can provide assistance with this if you need.

What language will the retreat be in?

Retreats will be in English.

Do I need insurance or am I covered?

You will need to arrange for your own insurance. This is at your discretion and is completely your responsibility.
